Should she stay or should she go???
I just saw a preview for an "all new" Zoey 101. The star of Zoey 101 is no other than Jaime Lynn Spears. UMMMM... does she really have a choice if she stays or if she goes?
Luckily for me, my girls have no clue that Jaime Lynn Spears and Zoey 101 are the same person. The other day in the store Alyson saw a magazine that had Jaime Lynn on the front with the headline "Pregnant." Nice, huh?
Please Hannah Montana, please remember that these little girls look up to girls like you....

Until next year...
Christmas is over and we really did have a good one. I love that the kids are getting older and actually get the meaning of Christmas. Christmas Eve we had my dad and brother over for some dinner and Guitar Hero!!! We exchanged gifts and then watched Luke II and then Alyson read it from her scriptures. Abby pretty much kicked my brother and dad out because she wanted to go to bed so Santa would come. We still didn't get to bed until about 1:30 (that's what I figured).
Christmas morning was fun. It was just us for awhile and Aaron had fun torturing the girls before they could come downstairs. We were getting the camera and video camera ready. I didn't get very many pictures this year because usually my mom is here to help but my mom, brother and stepdad got here right after the kids were done opening presents. Alivia took forever to open her presents because she opened every present like this:
Aaron is taking the scouts ice fishing in January so he love his new ice fishing pole. The Baby Alive is an added bonus! Alivia wanted every toy open as soon as she unwrapped it...
After opening presents with my family we went to the Egberts and I forgot to bring my camera! Not one single picture. We have spent the last two days doing nothing. The girls keep commenting on how nice it is to stay home and play. I have to agree!

I love Christmas Eve
So what time do you think you'll get into bed tonight?
For me, I am going to guess about 1:30!
I'll let you know...

Splurge!!!!
So last night we went to our friends, Mike and Becca's to exchange gifts and hang out and we ended up playing Guitar Hero 3 for the WII...
So of course this morning Aaron and I were looking all over Craigslist to find one. Not only did we find one, we've spent the last 4 hours playing it. GOOD FUN!!! It is so much fun and I am really good, if I do say so myself.
We justified buying it a few days beore Christmas because we labeled it "the family gift". Actually, Alyson is pretty good on it too so that makes it all okay.

New Years Resolutions
Already? Did I fail to keep last years? What were they last year? Did I even make any last year?
So as I am looking for the power cord for my photo printer, one thing popped into my mind:
I need to be more organized. I like the idea of being organized but I've never been organized. Now, I can organize a soccer team, a vacation, a birthday party,an activity etc... But give me a stack papers, power cords, outgrown clothes, pictures (before they were digital)I am done! Maybe it's not that I am so unorganized, maybe it's that I don't throw anything away! Okay, that's resolution #1.....
Throw things away and then organize!!!!
Many more to come......

So ready...
Aaron and I have been married for almost 11 years and I think 9 out of those 11 years, I have wanted to move from Las Vegas. I was born and raised in Vegas until my sophmore year of high school and then we moved to Alamo, Nevada.
Say what you want about Alamo but most end up moving back there. Still to this day, I think about it all the time. Especially since there are so many people moving back. What's the hold up? I guess I am in my comfort zone here in Vegas. There is the work issue for Aaron although there are a few options to look into. I've always said that my kids would be bored because they are invloved in things like soccer, swimming, girl scouts, etc...BUT, They would love to live in Alamo.
I am ready for a change!!!!

One more try...
I thought I would give the blogging world a try again. I didn't do a very good job keeping up with it before but I love read other blogs so I thought I would give it a try again.
We just returned home from a trip to Disneyland with my mom, brother, and stepdad. We went to Disneyland/California Adventure on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, Aaron, the kids and I went to SeaWorld since we had passes that expire at the end of the year.
Disneyland is beautiful this time of year and I can't even imagine all the time and effort that goes into getting the park ready for the holidays.
We found out that the park employees 28,000 people and that they have 3 shifts everyday of the week. We also found out that starting salary is $9.05/hour. Alyson is tall enough to ride EVERY ride in both parks and the faster the better for her. Abby was finally tall enough to ride Indiana Jones. She's been waiting for soooo long!
SeaWorld was fun. We fed the dolphins and watched the Shamu Holiday Show. It was very well done and the music was amazing. I had to explain to the kids that "Shamu" was a stage name and that the original Shamu has been dead for awhile. They thought Shamu had lots of babies. I had to laugh because Alyson said she would like to move to San Diego and work at SeaWorld with the doplhins and whales. I remember having the same feelings as a kid. I loved that place! Still do.
